Trackway is now part of Elisa

Elisa has acquired Trackway’s asset tracking and logistics solution business in February 2009. As part of its Elisa Production solutions for businesses, Elisa now offers a solution for logistics and asset tracking that covers the whole supply chain.

Since 2001, Trackway has created added value for its customers by offering comprehensive logistics, manufacturing and asset tracking solutions. Trackway’s operations augment the Elisa Production solutions with a proven concept and solution platform.

Elisa’s logistics and asset tracking solution is especially suited for industries that handle large or valuable masses of traceable material. Relevant industries are for example transportation and logistics, healthcare and supply chain management.

Logistics and asset tracking can be utilized for tracking products, people and areas, as well as for identification and collecting status information. In the future, the solution platform will serve other tracing and asset tracking technologies, such as sensor networks.

As the other Elisa Production solutions, the logistics and asset tracking solution can also be implemented as a service, without any equipment or software investments.
